July 12, 2013 -- A Big Surprise. . . A "Peacock Nest!!!"

The girls were super surprised and excited to receive a new trampoline, generously donated by a loving family that has been praying for Hope for a long time!  This is one of those blessings where God's grace and love goes far beyond our simple needs and into lavish extras that are just plain fun!  How God delights in giving good gifts to His children!!!  And we praise Him and thank the compassionate family that chose to remain anonymous in their desire to see God receive all glory and praise!!!  We have some video of the fun discovery of the girls' surprise and their reactions and thanks!

As you watch the videos, please marvel with us at God's continued amazing grace in our precious girls' lives and join us in offering Him much praise and adoration for His never ending, never failing, unconditional love, especially that which saves through Jesus Christ!!!

Romans 8:37-39
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.  For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Here are some pictures of the set up fun. . . Trev was being sneaky in the backyard while I kept the girls distracted downstairs in the house!

Getting the frame set up first!

Almost ready for two soon-to-be very excited girlies!!!  : )

Below are two videos of our new "Peacock Bird's Nest," as Hope has coined it after Daddy's tricky surprise to see the "bird's nest" in our backyard. . . we have had a robin's nest under our deck for the last three years and so Trev told the girls that there was a "bird's nest" surprise in the backyard.  But it was a different kind of "bird's nest" . . . one for two precious "Peacock birdies" instead!  : ). How fun!!!  The first video is the build up to the big surprise and the second is the girl's reaction to it!

The first day, they were playing out on the trampoline from when we carried Hope out, right after lunch, until 10 pm (with just a short supper break inside)!  They have made great use of the soft mat for spending hours playing games, eating snacks, practicing moves, watching movies, and just spending time together!  It is precious to watch Gabi love on her sister and be her "eyes" and "hands/feet," as they play together and enjoy the precious sister/friend bond between them!  Hope absolutely loves being on the trampoline.  They also love the jump time with daddy and have had a few "story times" out there with him, too!  It also offers a great place for Hope to practice the new skill she has recently achieved. . . sitting!  With a nice soft bouncy mat, it makes the perfect place to practice her sitting/balance. They love to take out snacks and Gabs will feed Hope while she sits up!  And the girls are SO excited to have their first camping night out on the trampoline!

Here are three pictures of a bit of their trampoline time fun!

Playing Yahtzee!!!  Hope LOVES playing this game as she can drop the dice herself and make all her own decisions/strategy!!!  Bad news for us. . . she usually wins!!!  : )
Thankful for a great little sister who serves as Hope's "eyes" to see the dice and "hands" to write and keep score!

Love that Hope has the ability to move freely and comfortably on the trampoline!

Evening Story Time on the Trampoline with Daddio. . . equals two spell-bound and delighted girlies!!!

Thank you for taking time to share in our joys and especially for praising the King of Kings and Lord of Lords with us for His always good and faithful love and care for us!!!  Know that YOU are very loved!!!

John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him."
