Filled with Immense Gratitude. . . thank you!!!

Hello dear prayer warriors!!!  I am sorry that it has been so long since I have been able to post anything.  It has been a very very full past few weeks, and I am eager to get the opportunity to start catching you up!  But I must first start by sharing our hearts after the amazing benefit dinner/auction that was held to raise funds for Hope's ongoing and future needs!

Click on "Read More" to continue. . .

What a blessed night it was to see so many precious people. . . family, friends, friends we hadn't seen for years, and brand new friends we were able to meet there!  It was a rich time of celebration for our family of all that God has brought us through, how He has lovingly surrounded us with precious people who have been such an instrumental part of this journey with us right from the beginning, how He has powerfully healed Hope in so many ways, and hope for what He will yet do in and through our precious girlie's life!  How could we but sing praises to His awesome name!  And that is just what we did. . . we sang two of Hope's favourite worship songs and it was a huge highlight for many to watch her worship her Creator and Saviour as we sang, "Oh Happy Day!" and "10,000 Reasons."

Our family had the opportunity to share an update with everyone on where Hope was at and to offer our huge and heartfelt thanks to everyone for all they had done to be a part of that night happening.  Another highlight for everyone though was having Hope share a bit, including showing off her newer spelling skills when she spelled "aerodynamics!"

We truly cannot put into words how amazed, humbled and immensely grateful we are for all who participated in all the fundraising efforts for Hope.  There are so many people who were involved. . . amazing Leanne Harrold and Joel Samuelson who planned and organized the whole event, Trev's dear family (immediate and extended, even Grandpa!) who set up and cleaned up before/after the event and of course cooked and served the delicious meal, Joel Dipert who led the worship, the entertaining auctioneer with his helpful sidekick, our sweet nephew Kaleb, Cindy Warnock who organized and ran the puzzle fundraiser,  Diane Samuelson for contacting the media and helping to increase awareness of the benefit dinner and also of Hope's story, the many people who donated amazing items for the auctions, the many people who generously bought those items, the precious people who took time out of their busy lives to attend the dinner and celebrate with us, those who prayed for the event, and those who just gave compassionately out of the generosity of their heart and the Lord's leading!  All together it equaled a night of true celebration of God's goodness and faithfulness, and His generous provision for the needs of our sweet girlie!!!

And now to you, who is reading about this, thank YOU for continuing to follow Hope's story and ongoing prayer needs. . . each and every one of you are an important part of this journey for our family and we are continually humbled and grateful for the many people, near and far, young and "mature," known and unknown (for now!), from the beginning and just now joining in . . . thank YOU for your heart for and support of our family and sweet Hope!  We pray that as you continue to share our joys and struggles with us, by praying for Hope's needs and reading about her continued progress in her brain injury recovery, that YOU would be drawn more in awe of the God and Creator who reigns over Hope and everyone of us!!!  He is worthy of our praise and adoration, always and forever!!!

We praise Him for YOU, dear ones!!!  YOU are so very loved!!!
