I've been meaning to share an update on Hope's continued recovery at home after the surgery to repair the broken hardware in her back for a while now.  So, here is a catch up on how the last three weeks at home have been going for Hope's recovery and current praises and prayer requests for her . . .

February 8, 2021 -- A Broken Back

Hello dear ones!  It has been way too long since we have shared an update on our sweet Hope.  I keep thinking, "Oh, this would be great to share on Hope's blog!"  And then the time slips by and I have missed the opportunity.  Please forgive me for that!  Especially in light of how amazingly faithful, compassionate, and loving you are in your heart for Hope and in keeping updated on what is going on in her life as to how you can continue to both pray for her and praise God with her!  Well, I'm sitting down and not missing the opportunity to share this update with you, because it is a big prayer request for our sweet girlie . . .

February 20, 2018 -- Hope's Journey to Walk

Well, this was a post that I have been wanting and meaning to share for a long time.  As such, a lot has happened over the long while since I first started out to write this post, including some significant ups and down.  I even noticed that I referred to it in my last post back in Dec 2016!  Well, you have waited long, and God is so worthy of all praise, so here is an update on Hope's walking progress. . .

October 27, 2016 -- Update on Hope's Seizure Saga

Well, I promised an update on Hope's seizures and here we are another 2 months down the road . . . where does the time go?!?!  So I have entitled this an update on the seizure saga, and SAGA it is!  It certainly does seem to go on and on and on . . . hmmm, kinda like me!  Ha ha!  But one thing is certain, our God remains good, able, and faithful, even as the storms continue, eh!  That is always the biggest "saga" of Hope's story indeed!!!  

August 31, 2016 -- Goodbye Summer . . . Back to School We Go!

Sniff, sniff . . . always so hard to say goodbye to summer break and back to school.  I so love having the girls home full time all summer!  And thus, why you haven't heard from me for so long.  I had good intentions . . . but there were just so many other things to pull my attention away from the computer . . . namely two sweet girls named, Hope and Gabi!!!

June 2nd, 2016 -- Quick Update

Hope is super excited to be attending the Umbrella Conference beginning tomorrow!  Joni Eareckson Tada will be speaking at the conference and she is really hoping she can meet her.  

May 3, 2016 -- Bring It On, Seizures!!!

This post comes from another room and hallway of the Alberta Children's Hospital (ACH)!  So we counted up all the different rooms and hallways Hope has been in over the course of the last 4+ years . . . 

April 1, 2016 -- Adjusting Our Plans to God's Plans

It's been one of those days . . . the ones where you eventually just wish it would end and you could start fresh tomorrow, or hit a rewind button and have a "do-over!"  Either way, the day doesn't go as planned . . . I'm sure everyone relates to those days, eh!  In the big picture, we've had much harder days than today, but today is just that . . .TODAY!  It's the day that we're in now, and the troubles of today feel big, frustrating, disappointing, and outside of our understanding!
