September 1, 2013. . . Happy Birthday Hope!!!

Hope had a great weekend celebrating her 11th birthday, last Sunday.  I picked a few pictures below to share with you of her celebrating fun!  Thank you so very much for all the sweet birthday notes, wishes and prayers that you sent to Hope!  She was so blessed by them all!!!  And it continues to be a huge encouragement to her of how many precious people God has laid on their hearts to pray for her!!!  You are loved, dear ones!!!

Hope got to celebrate her birthday with the Meese family (Heather's family) at Calaway Park!
Here she is riding on a fast swing in a circle kinda ride with her brave Grandma
(because mom and dad get sick on those rides!). . .
Yeah for brave Grandma!!!

Hope got a super fast spinning ride with Uncle Beaver, Gabi and Dustin!!!
REALLY thankful that she can do this with her uncle while mom and dad sit out!!!
And amazed she didn't get sick from how fast Uncle and Dustin can spin that strawberry!!!  Yikes!!!

Birthday smiles and pose with wonderful Grandpa and Grandma Meese!!!

After Calaway Park, we got to stop and have a double birthday celebration with our wonderful friends, the Cowies!!!
Jayden's and Hope's birthdays are only one day apart!!!

On Hope's birthday, she got to go out for lunch with her wonderful Grandma and Grandpa Peacock!
After lunch, we came home and celebrated with an ice cream cake!!!
Yummy. . . as you can tell from the little tongue stealing an early lick while posing for the picture!!!  : )

Later than night, we got to go hang out for some fun birthday celebrating with great friends, the Samuelsons!
Hope chose to take key lime cupcakes with cherry frosting to share with our friends!

Snuggling with sweet little buddy, Lucy, in the super warm and comfy bed
that Mr. Joel made for the kids to watch the movie from!!!

The Samuelsons had rigged a super cool "Movie in the Park" outside on their acreage!
This "movie screen" is a big flannel sheet strung between trees!!!  Cool eh!!!
The kids loved watching the new movie, Epic, that Hope had received earlier that afternoon from her grandparents!
Very thankful for daddy's BIG muscles that carried Hope up and down the hill to get to the "Movie in the Park!"

Having a sweet cupcake with sweet friends while getting warmed up inside after the movie!

The next morning, we woke up to our wonderful neighbour boys at the door. . . bearing gifts for Hopey!!!
They had fun opening them together. . . notice the super cool sparkly rainbow hat that Hope is sporting!
Later after a blueberry/peach/almond stuffed french toast brunch (Hope's choice!), the girls had a great time playing on the trampoline with the boys and then having homemade snow cones!!!

Hope also got to take fruit salad and whipped cream to her class on the first day of school, to have a little celebration at the end of the day.  So we counted 6 special birthday treats/little celebrations all together that Hope was blessed to have!!!  That's some heavy duty celebrating!!!  Our God is awesome to heal, mighty to save, and full of amazing grace. . . we are SO blessed to have had the opportunity to celebrate not only our sweet girlie, Hope, but every day, the HOPE we have in Jesus Christ!!!  Thanks for taking time to share in Hope's special day!!!  You are so very loved, dear ones!!!

Romans 15:13
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."

1 Peter 1:3-9
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!  According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God's power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.  In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith--more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire--may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.  Though you have not seen him, you love him.  Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
