July 12, 2013 -- Sitting Around!!!

Here is a picture and little video of one of the first times Hope showed off the newest ability she has regained. . . sitting!!!  She did it first in the middle of the night when she asked for a drink of water. . . when I let go of holding her, to grab the water bottle, she didn't fall over!  We tried it again the next day on the new trampoline and she was able to do it again for you on the video camera!  So now you can share in our excitement for the Lord's grace and continued healing!

She is not able to sit herself up, but if we help her sit up, she can find her balance and stay sitting up!  Gabi has been timing how long Hope is able to sit up on the trampoline and she has gone as long as 4 minutes!  With Hope's severe scoliosis or curvatures in her neck, spine and pelvis, as well as her weak core muscle strength, it is very difficult to be able to have any ability to balance.  So we see God's amazing hand of healing and grace in her sudden ability to find BALANCE!  As always, we look forward with trust and eager anticipation and hope of what yet He will do in and through Hope's life and in healing her!  Thank you so much for your continued prayers, dear ones!  You are loved!!!
